On July 17-19, 2015, The International Sociological Congress "Conflicts of the XXI Century: New Societies, New Spaces: Interdisciplinary Dialogue" was held in Burgas (Bulgaria).

The co-organizer of this event was the Public Opinion Research Institute (Astana, Kazakhstan). Congress organizers: Sociological Research Group SEJ-131 (University of Granada, Spain), The Institute of Peace and Conflict Studies (University of Granada, Spain), Institute of Peace, Conflict and Mediation of "Kokshe" Academy (Kokshetau, Kazakhstan), Europartners 2007 Foundation (Sofia, Bulgaria). Congress participants were scientists, researchers, mediators, conflict experts, experts from Spain, Bulgaria, Kazakhstan, Argentina, Mexico and other countries.

The congress was attended by: Deputy Chairman of the Scientific-Expert Council of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, Director of the "Kogamdyk Kelisim" RSI Doctor of Political Sciences Natalya Kalashnikova, Member of SEC APK, Director of the Public Opinion Research Institute, Candidate of Social Sciences Botagoz Rakisheva, Financial Director of the Public Opinion Research Institute Aizhan Nurgalieva.

Co-organizers of the Congress were members of the foreign group of the SEC APK, professor at Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" (Bulgaria) Tatyana Dronzina, as well as professor of the University of Granada (Spain) Antonio Lozano

On June 23-29, 2015, at the invitation of the China Institutes of Contemporary International Relations (CICIR), employees and experts of the Public Opinion Research Institute visited Beijing and Shanghai cities. Several meetings were held at CICIR, Research Center for Chinese Borderland History and Geography of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and Institute of Russian, Eastern European & Central Asian Studies of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences.

A serious scientific dialogue took place with Chinese scientists and experts.

On June 26, 2015 in Beijing, experts of the Public Opinion Research Institute took part in the Round Table "Kazakhstan Today and Tomorrow", organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the PRC with the assistance of the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC) and the Chinese Friendship Society of China and Central Asia.

On May 14, 2015, the First Deputy Director of the Public Opinion Research Institute Ainur Mazhitova, the Head of the Data Processing Department Gulden Ashkenova, the Head of the Field Department Anastassiya Shandryga took part in a training seminar on the subject of "Technology for Preparing Recommendations on the Basis of Research Results in Inter-Ethnic Relations and Ethnopolitics". The training seminar was organized by the Center for the Study of Interethnic and Interfaith Relations in the Central Asian Region of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

During the seminar, the participants discussed the new tasks of the state ethnopolitics of Kazakhstan, the priority areas and methodologies of scientific research, the current state of research in the field of interethnic relations and ethnopolitics, the features and benefits of using an interdisciplinary approach in the study of interethnic relations, and the regional aspect of the research. The discussion was held in order to exchange views and experience, in addition, recommendations were developed on conducting scientific research in the field of ethnopolitics and interethnic relations.

At this event, Ainur Mazhitova was awarded the jubilee medal "20 years to the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan" for her significant contribution to strengthening public harmony in the country, ensuring the unity of the people of Kazakhstan according to the resolution of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Chairman of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan N. Nazarbayev.

On May 1-2, 2015, Director of the Public Opinion Research Institute, Candidate of Sociological Sciences Botagoz Rakisheva and Deputy Director of the Public Opinion Research Institute Ainur Mazhitova took part in the symposium "The Assembly of People of Kazakhstan - a platform for peace, interethnic and interfaith harmony" in the framework of the International Forum of Koreans dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan and the 25th anniversary of the Association of Koreans of Kazakhstan, the 70th anniversary of the liberation of Korea.

On April 27, 2015 in Astana, the Kazakhstan Institute for Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Congress of Kazakhstan Political Scientists and the Public Opinion Research Institute held the EXPERT FORUM "Elections 2015: Results and Evaluations". The results of the electoral campaign for early elections of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan were discussed during the Expert Forum. The expert forum was attended by well-known experts from Kazakhstan, near and far abroad.

On April 21, 2015, Director of the Public Opinion Research Institute, a member of the Scientific-Expert Council of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan, candidate of sociological sciences Botagoz Rakisheva made a presentation entitled "Cultural values of repatriates and the Kazakh diaspora: the foundation of civic identity" at the Astana Expert Forum of Sociologists and Political Scientists on the topic: "MANGILIK EL - Kazakhstan system of values", organized by the Kazakhstan Institute for Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Association of Sociologists of Kazakhstan, the Congress of Kazakhstan Political Scientists.

On April 14, 2015 in Astana, the "Kogamdyk Kelisim" RSI and Public Opinion Research Institute held a round table on the subject of "Modern Electoral Technologies: Experience and Practice". The round table was attended by representatives of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Republican Public Commission for the Control of Extraordinary Elections, political parties, non-governmental organizations, scientists and practitioners of the electoral process, experts from Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.

On April 2, 2015, Director of the Public Opinion Institute Botagoz Rakisheva, the First Deputy Director Ainur Mazhitova, the Head of the Data Processing Department of this Institute Gulden Ashkenova, the Head of the Field Department Anastassiya Shandryga took part in a training for Kazakhstan experts on the development of the methodology "National Corruption Perception Index" organized by the Institute of Public Policy of "Nur Otan" Party and the Nazarbayev University Graduate School of Public Policy.

On March 3, 2015, Director of the Public Opinion Institute Botagoz Rakisheva presented the results of the sociological survey "Social and Economic Well-Being of Kazakhstan's Youth", commissioned by the Council for the Development of Youth Entrepreneurship of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The aim of the study is a monitoring study of the socio-economic well-being of young citizens of Kazakhstan aged 14 to 29 years. To achieve the objectives of the study, a survey was conducted among 2,000 respondents (1st group – young people from 14 to 29 years old: 1,000 respondents, 2nd group – young entrepreneurs from 18 to 29 years old: 1,000 respondents).

The date of the field work is February 14-24, 2015; the geography of the study is 14 regions of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Astana and Almaty cities. The presentation of the main results of the study took place at the Second meeting of the Council for the Development of Youth Entrepreneurship of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

On February 25, 2015, Ainur Mazhitova, the First Deputy Director of the Public Opinion Institute, took part in the International Expert Seminar on the subject of "Assessment of Political Risks for Foreign Investors in Central Asia. Investment attractiveness of Kazakhstan", organized by the Kazakhstan Center for Analytical Research "Eurasian Monitoring".
