The Institute regularly holds expert meetings with well knowed researchers, experts and scientists from around the world. Scientists, researchers, representatives of state and non-state analytical structures, undergraduates, doctoral students are invited. Expert meetings have been held since 2012.

On January 24, 2024, an Expert meeting was held at the Institute’s office with Dr. Anar Somuncuoğlu, Associate Professor at Hacettepe University, PhD. The expert made a presentation on the topic “Turkish Foreign Policy in Eurasia”. The meeting was moderated by Kalamkas Yessimova, a scientific researcher of the Institute. The expert meeting was held in a hybrid format (offline/online).

"Terrorism: forms and methods of recruitment" Expert: Prof. Tatyana Dronzina Doctor of Political Sciences, Professor of Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" (Bulgaria).

"The situation in the Middle East: a view from Iran." Expert: prof. Bahram Amirahmadiyan is a famous Iranian scientist, professor at Tehran University, a member of the scientific council of the Center for Research on Russia, Central Asia and Caucasus (Tehran, Iran).

"Cooperation of analytical structures of Kazakhstan and South Korea: opportunities and prospects". Expert: Sangcheol Kim - professor, researcher at the Institute of Central Asian Studies at Hankuk University (Seoul, South Korea), specialist in Kazakhstan.

"The current situation of the Kazakhs of China (based on the results of sociological expeditions)". Expert: Botagoz Rakisheva - PhD in Sociology, Director of the Public Opinion Research Institute, researcher of the Kazakh diaspora, conducted field research in 20 countries around the world to study the life of ethnic Kazakhs (Western Europe, Turkey, Russia, China, Central Asia, Saudi Arabia, etc.)

"On new trends in Turkish foreign policy". Expert: prof. Bayram Balci, a well-known specialist in post-Soviet Islam, the main topic of his research is Islam in Turkey, the Caucasus and Central Asia.

"The Ukrainian crisis: an expert view from the EU". Expert: Dr. Nicholas de Pedro, Senior Fellow at the Center for International Relations (Barcelona, Spain). Topic: Ukrainian crisis: expert opinion from the EU.

"Multiculturalism in Europe: the present and the future". Expert - prof. Jan Asmussen is a German researcher and scientist specializing in ethnoconflictology and mediation, a Research Fellow at the Institute of Social Sciences (Kiel, Germany).

An expert meeting with Professor Muratbek Imanaliev, a Kyrgyz state and political figure, Muratbek Imanaliev was Secretary General of the SCO for two years (January 1, 2010 - December 31, 2012), was the Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the PRC. Now heads the Institute for Public Policy. The meeting will be held jointly with the Kyrgyz ethnocultural association "Kyrgyzstan-Astana" of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan, the Kazakh-Russian University and the Scientific Expert Council of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan.
