On February 27, 2020, in the city of Nur-Sultan, a round table discussion entitled "Actual Issues of Ethnopolitics in Kazakhstan: Expert Opinion" was held, dedicated to the issues of improving approaches to the study and regulation of interethnic relations, improving the efficiency of government bodies and public institutions in this area. Organized by: Kazakhstan Institute for Strategic Studies, "Kogamdyk Kelisim" RSI and the Central Communications Service under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The event was attended by the heads of state bodies, public institutions in the field of interethnic relations, leading Kazakhstan's experts.

The Chairman of the Scientific and Expert Council, the head of the Center for Interethnic and Interconfessional Studies in Central Asian Region at the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Aigul Sadvokassova, presented the results of the work of a special research group that went to the Kordaysky district of the Zhambyl region and prepared a report based on the results. The research team included staff members of the Institute.
