On May 21, 2014, within the framework of the VII Astana Economic Forum, the Eurasian Development Bank Centre for Integration Studies, together with the Public Opinion Research Institute, held a panel session «Public perception of Eurasian integration».

The key topic of the discussion was the issues of public perception and attitudes towards regional integration projects of the countries of the CIS region: the Customs Union, the Common Economic Space and the Eurasian Economic Union.

The session presented and discussed the results of the «EDB Integration Barometer» - an annual survey of the population of 12 countries of the CIS region.

The session was attended by leading scientists and experts on regional integration of the CIS countries, representatives of government agencies, domestic and foreign research institutes, academic circles, as well as international organizations.
