On June 16, 2022, Candidate of Social Sciences, Scientific consultant, Project Director, Official representative of the World Association for Public Opinion Research (WAPOR) in Kazakhstan Botagoz Rakisheva and Project manager, WAPOR member Assel Aizhanova participated in the webinar “Eurasia Barometer 2021: Comparative Study onSocial and Political Attitudes in Armenia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, and Ukraine”. The organizers of the webinar: WAPOR, the organization “Global Barometer Surveys” (GBS), as well as the partner of GBS – the Eurasia Barometer team (EAB). The webinar was held online, attended by more than 40 listeners.
As part of the webinar, the speakers presented the latest results of the Eurasian Barometer survey in Armenia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia and Ukraine, which were conducted in October-November 2021. The Public Opinion Research Institute has implemented this research in Kazakhstan, as well as in Kyrgyzstan together with partners. As part of the webinar, Botagoz Rakisheva presented some survey results in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan in the context of the Internet and social networks in the information space.

On June 15, 2022, Analyst, Research Methodologist KalamkasYessimova took part in the dialogue platform “Memlekettik kyzmetshinin bolmysy” (“The image of a civil servant”). The event was held in an offline format at the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. On June 9, 2022, Scientific Consultant, Project Director, Candidate of Sociological Sciences Botagoz Rakisheva, took part in the International Human Capital Forum "Integration Code 2022" in Turkestan. Conference organizers: Astana Civil Service Hub, Association of HR Managers of Kazakhstan, Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Civil Service Affairs, the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, UP School of Development and UNDP Kazakhstan.
The forum included plenary sessions, TED presentations, parallel sections, team games and a master class. The forum was held offline in Russian.
Botagoz Rakisheva acted as a speaker at the panel section “Society and Governance. From Al Farabi to a New Reality. The section was moderated by Alikhan Baimenov, Chairman of the Steering Committee of the Astana Civil Service Hub.
June 8-10, 2022, Director of the Institute Gulden Ashkenova and Deputy Director Ainur Mazhitova were lecturers at a training seminar on sociological research in the field of religion for specialists of local executive bodies in the city of Nur-Sultan. The seminar was organized with the support of the N.Nazarbayev Center for Development of Interfaith and Intercivilization Dialogue.
The main purpose of the seminar - to improve the quality of the organization and conduction of sociological research in the field of religion in the regions. The seminar was attended by specialists of the departments of religious affairs and subordinate organizations for the religious issues research from city of Nur-Sultan, as well as Akmola, East Kazakhstan, Kostanay, Karaganda, Pavlodar, North Kazakhstan regions.
On June 7, 2022, the scientific consultant, project director, Candidate of Sociological Sciences, Botagoz Rakisheva, took part in the 6th annual international conference “Public Policy and Good Governance in a Changing World”. Conference organizers: Nazarbayev University Graduate School of Public Policy (NU GSPP), National University of Singapore’s Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, Astana Civil Service Hub and Sustainable Development Solutions Network Kazakhstan.
The conference included six panel sessions. The sessions were held in a combined format (online/offline) in English.
Botagoz Rakisheva made a presentation on the topic "Sociological Research "Governance In The Republic Of Kazakhstan" As Part Of The Governance Project Of The Center On Democracy, Development And The Rule Of Law At Stanford University: Project Organization, Methodology, Results" within the Section 1: Towards a People-Centered Governance: Countries' Perspectives.

On May 26-28, 2022, Botagoz Rakisheva, as the principal investigator of the 7th wave of the World Values Survey (WVS-7) in Kazakhstan, took part in the General Assembly of the World Values Survey Association (WVSA), where the results of the 7th wave of the study, as well as the work plan for the 8th wave of WVS were discussed. The meeting was organized online. A separate section of the General Assembly was dedicated to the memory of Ronald F. Inglehart.
On May 20, 2022, the X Congress of Political Scientists of Kazakhstan on the theme “New Kazakhstan in the New World” was held at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. Organizers: Association of Political Studies, Institute of Philosophy, Political Science and Religious Studies of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kazakhstan Political Science Association (KPSA), Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, KazISS under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Botagoz Rakisheva spoke at the panel session “Transformation of Identification Models of Kazakhstanis” with a report “The Role of Values in the Formation of Identity”.

On March 10, 2022, an international conference was held dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Turkic states, organized by the International Turkic Academy.
The President of the International Turkic Academy Darkhan Kydyrali, the First Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States Khalil Akyndzhi, the First Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Hasan Hasanov, the representative of the Council of Elders of the Turkic States from the Kazakh side Ikram Adyrbekov, the First Vice President of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan Isa Habibeyli took part in the opening ceremony of the conference, as well as ambassadors, diplomats, deputies, scientists and experts.
As part of the event, which took place online, the presentation of the book "Turkic World - 30", dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the independence of the fraternal states and the integration of kindred countries, was held. The ribbon of the book was cut by a member of the Council of Aksakals of the OTS Ikram Adyrbekov and the head of the International Turkic Academy Darkhan Kydyrali.
The book contains memories and reflections of prominent statesmen and public figures, heads of international organizations, ambassadors, experts and scientists who have made a significant contribution to the 30-year cooperation of the Turkic countries and peoples. The articles in the book are devoted to the integration processes between the fraternal countries, including the renewal and intensive development of scientific and humanitarian cooperation.
