On April 25, 2024, an international scientific and practical conference “International dialogue and culture of mutual   understanding in the works of K. Khafizova”, dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the outstanding scientist, famous orientalist, doctor of historical sciences, professor, one of the founders of sinology in Kazakhstan, specialist in the ancient Chinese language was held in Almaty.

The event was organized by the International Center for the Rapprochement of Cultures under the auspices of UNESCO, led by the poet and public figure Olzhas Suleimenov, and the Central State Archive of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Research staff of the Institute i.e. Botagoz Rakisheva and Kalamkas Yessimova took part in this conference.
