March 5, 2024. The United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and UN Women in Kazakhstan, with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan, presented an analytical report “Public perception of gender equality and women’s empowerment in Kazakhstan”. The report is based on data from a survey of 3,800 respondents in 17 regions of Kazakhstan and three cities of republican significance, conducted by the Public Opinion Research Institute commissioned by the United Nations Development Program in Kazakhstan in partnership with UN Women. The results of this research were presented by Botagoz Rakisheva.
A sociological research devoted to the issues of public perception of the ideas of gender equality and women's empowerment in the Republic of Kazakhstan. To complete the research, both qualitative and quantitative methods were used, including a mass survey, a series of expert interviews and focus group discussions.
